I have this nagging feeling and maybe has been corroborated by many thousand others like me. Here it is - politics and wealth (at least in my own country) goes hand in hand!
Here's why:
1. WEALTH CREATION! The richest lawmakers are mostly businessmen themselves. Reason and logic will side with me therefore the supposed "law" is modified/crafted/made to favor their own business interests. Cant the people that vote for them see this is blatant theft!
2.WEALTH EXPANSION: The biggest businessmen (in terms of interests) sits on boards of semi and government corporations! So if you are a board member, one will naturally push for policies that will increase their corporations earnings, and thus makes them even wealthier!
3. WEALTH PRESERVATION: The people in politics are sons and daughters of former politicians! Even businessmens children are now running their own!
Looking back, this I believe are the strategies of the rich. And the reason why they are getting richer!
